Former super model Cindy Crawford was in Las Vegas during the weekend to promote her new furniture collection inspired by her unique lifestyle. The now business woman was at at R.C. Willey, a Channel 8 sponsor to advertise 'Cindy Crawford Home ', her own brand for the home. Besides, Crawford gave her support to leukemia research, a noble cause deeply connected with her and her family since her brother died of that medical disease when she was 10 years old. "My little brother died of Leukemia when I was 10-years-old. So obviously helping children with cancer and Leukemia specifically has been something that I try to do whatever I can for. It's very close to my whole family's heart," she said. Talking about how different you may feel in a hospital room if you have some basic things, she shared, "Everything from donating money so that there're beds. These chairs that fold out into the beds so the moms can spend the night in the room with their child instead of having to sleep in an uncomfortable chair. To providing phone lines so kids can call home or call friends. Because being in a hospital if you're a teenager, you really feel like you're being robbed of your life. So it's very easy for me to show up for those charities cause I remember what it was like for my family going through that."
